This patient was in the middle of a crown restoration on tooth #8, when he was involved in a diving accident causing # 9 to become displaced. The impact of the accident caused discoloration of the tooth. Both #8 and #9 had 2nd degree mobility, and had several fracture lines.
After several weeks of healing the patient returned to the office. A shade was selected for the crown restoration to be started on tooth #9.
The patient was pleased with the final restorations that were placed several weeks later.
